Jatayu Bird Sculpture at Chadayamangalam, Kollam
Jatayu Bird Sculpture is situated at Chadayamangalam in Kollam district of Kerala. It is part of the Jatayu Nature Park and tourism centre and the park is under construction. The first phase of the Jatayu Nature Park worth Rs 100 crore is all set to open in January 2016.
When open, Jatayu Nature Park will hold the distinction of having the world’s largest bird sculpture (200 feet (61 m) long, 150 feet (46 m) broad, 70 feet (21 m) in height and having 15,000 square feet (1,400 m2) of floor area) of the great mythical bird Jatayu the mythical bird that tried to rescue Sita from the clutches of Raavan in the Hindu epic Ramayana. According to local legend, the bird fell here after it was struck down by Raavan.
Designed by Rajiv Anchal, This rock-theme nature park is about 38 km (24 mi) away from Kollam city and 28 km (17 mi) away from Paravur.
Sculpture of Yakshi, Malampuzha
Another famous sculpture in Kerala is the statue of a gaint Yakshi at Malampuzha dam and Gardens. The sculpture created by the famous sculptor Kanayi Kunhiraman.
The statue has been carved out of a large single rock and is said to be inspired from the female protagonist of a novel of same name by Malayattur Ramakrishnan.

Giant Fish at Malampuzha Gardens
Another famous sculpture situated at the Malampuzha Gardens is the giant fish shaped fresh-water aquarium. Visitors can get into the aquarium through the wide opened mouth of the fish. Various varieties of fishes and other marine specimen are exhibited. The aquarium is open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Jalakanyaka at Shanghumukham Beach
The Jalakanyaka, a statue of a Mermaid is another sculpture by the famous Kanayi Kunhiraman situated at the Shanghumukham beach in Thiruvananthapuram. The Giant statue of Mermaid or ‘Malthsya kanyaka’ is more than 35m long and and is one of the main attraction at Shanghumukham Beach.
Conch Sculpture at Veli Lake
The conch shells like sculpture is situated in the Veli Tourist village of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Children are allowed to climb the sculptures and play. Adults can spend leisure time on the well maintained lawns. The park also contains a number of sculptor designed by Kanai Kunhiraman, a famous sculptor of Kerala.
Mother and Child Statue at Payyambalam
The payyambalam beach park situated adjacent to the Payyambalam beach in the Kannur district of Kerala has a beautiful mud sculpture of Mother and child created by the famous sculptor kanayi Kunhiraman. The beach park also has some other sculptures and lots of play items for children.

Lord Hanman Statue at Ezhimala, Kannur
The Anjaneya Statue or the statue of lord Hanuman in Ezhimala hills is the tallest Hanuman statue in South India. The 41 feet tall statue is made of concrete and is situated on the upper part of Top raod on the Ezhimala hills.
The Anjaneya statue and temple is about 215 meters above the sea on the on the eastern part of Ezhimala hills (a hill reaching a height of 286 metres)

Mermaid Statue at Kollam Beach
The mermaid statue is situated at Kollam Mahatma Gandhi Beach and Park at Kochupilamoodu, adjacent to the Kollam beach of Kerala. This 35-foot tall Mermaid (Jalakanyaka) is the biggest statue of Mermaid in India.
Bhoomidevi Statue at Thiruvananthapuram
The Sculpture of Bhoomidevi (The goddess Earth) is situated at the Jawaharlal Nehru Tropical Botanic Garden and Research Institute of Thiruvananthapuram, is the only statue of its kind in India.
Kuruvan Kuruthi Statue at Ramakkalmedu
The Kuruvan Kuruthi Statue is located at Ramakkalmedu a hill station and a hamlet in Idukki district of Kerala at an altitude of 3500 feet. Rama – kal – medu literally means “Land of Rama’s Stone” or “Land where Rama kept his leg“.
The statue by C.B Jinan was erected on the top of the hill in the year 2005. The statue depicts two historical characters behind the construction of the Idukki Dam. The monument provides a panoramic view of Tamil Nadu villages and towns, including Cumbum, Theni, Kombe, Thevaram, Uthamapalayam, Bodinaykannor and Vaiga.

A Sculpture of a lady by the famous Kanayi Kunhiraman is situated at the pazhassi Dam in the Kannur District of Kerala. The statue is situated at the gardens adjacent to the Dam.
Mother & Child Statue at Chaalil Beach, Kannur
The statue is situated at Chaalil beach which is nearly 8 Km away from the Kannur Town. The statue is named as Mother, child and and Shell. The statue is designed by Balan Tanur.
Sculpture Garden at Thenmala
The Thenmala eco-tourism project contains a Sculpture Garden in its Leisure Zone. There are 23 variety of sculptures in the zone. The theme of the Garden is MAN AND NATURE. It endeavors to depict the relationship of MAN and his culture with NATURE, in the serene backdrop of a green forest – i.e. unpolluted nature – synchronizing with the Thenmala Forests. Interesting circulation pathways around the sculptures and the integration of the natural features in zone gives the sculpture garden its own exclusivity.

Heart Statue at Pariyaram Medical College
The Gaint heart statue situated is situated in front of the Pariyaram Medical collge, Kannur District of Kerala. The Heart Statue enters Limca Book of Records as the Largest Heart Statue in the World. The Statue designed by Thrikkaripur Raveendran is situated infront of the Hridalaya of Pariyaram Medical College. The statue made using concrete has a height of 16 feet and the total height from ground is 32 feet. The statue is in the form of holding the heart in both hands.
43 Feet tall Gandhi Statue at Sadhoo Merry Kingdom
World’s tallest statue of Mahatma Gandhi is situated at Sadhoo Merry Kingdom amusement Park, Chala, Kannur. The statue was unveiled as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebration of the Park. The total height of the statue without the pedestal is 43ft. The Statue was constructed using concrete by Sarvothaman of Kannur. He took four years durable work to complete the statue.
