Stared in 2015 Pinarayi Chekupalam Vallam Kali is conducted in the Ummanchira River at Chekupalam near Pinarayi.The Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the Boat Race.

Only the 5 rower fiber boat Race is conducted here.
